Day 26 of The Forty Day Plan

Have you noticed the Valentine’s stuff on the shelves. It’s probably been there since Dec 26th, but I really saw it yesterday as I went in search of …hehehe old fashioned hard Christmas candy (I didn’t find any).

But what has that got to do with The Forty Day Plan?

I’m glad you asked. Today I pulled a QUESTION card from

BUT FIRST – CONFESSION TIME
Before I understood life as I do today, on Valentines day I always wanted flowers delivered to my job so my co-workers could see how LOVED I WAS but I never got flowers delivered to the office. Inhale – Exhale.
I’m so glad I don’t need outside validation of my worthiness.
It makes life so much more BETTER.

POPCORN

Today’s card: How can I be MORE KIND to myself?

I love popcorn like really really bad. I find it almost impossible to leave any popcorn deliciousness in the bowl or bag.

Now I’ve been on Noom for some time, and I really don’t eat popcorn because you know…calories and uncontrolled love of popcorn.

Today though I’m craving CARBS and I found a bag of microwave popcorn in my desk- really it was caught in the space at the top and back …ANYWAY I FOUND popcorn and I popped it, and burnt a lot of it, but I ate the salvageable pieces and I enjoyed it.

Popcorn is my happy place.

How can I be MORE KIND to myself?
By giving myself the things I desire that are in my power and not giving a DA$$&^# about calories, price, or what other humans think.

Today I treated myself kind with one of my favorite treats. But I also gave myself hugs, deep breaths, and loving self talk. Today was a good day.
